 As a horror movie fan I have to say this movie was the one I've been waiting to see since last year. Now that I've seen it.. it's hard for me to say it was so good because it was so different. The only downside - respectably, is that I can't really tell you what happens because the movie suggests movie goers to not say what happens. With that said, if you are a true horror movie buff and know all sub categories of horror movies you may like the homage paid to previous movies in this film with a good idea behind it. It is unique. However, if you're not a horror movie fanatic you may just want to see this movie when it's on tv/netflix etc.
The acting was good. The photography was good. Some scenes were a bit dark, but i wondered if it was intentional to add some creepiness. I jumped a few times (mostly based on good timing and sound). However, I was never really bothered psychologically or held in any suspense.

I saw the Three Stooges movie last night, it was funny like the classics but set in our current time period. If you were a fan of the show then you'll enjoy this movie. A friend that accompanied me to the film said it was more stupid than funny but enjoyed it. Some celebrity actors outside of the trio that i didn't expect to see: Larry David, The actor from the Old Spice commercials Isaiah Mustafa, Jane Lynch (Glee), Sofía Vergara, the cast of the Jersey Shore.

Games | L.A. Noire: Review

Amazing new technology brings characters to life in Rockstar Games' newest game, L.A. Noire. Rockstar really made an impressive game with it's new facial gesture mocap technology. You get ever eye, mouth, brow, smirk, smile- movement so every single expression can be caught and displayed in a game. It is truly the first.
The 2 downsides I found was interrogation and case study once a case is complete. With interrogation it isn't immediately understandable: You always get 3 options during an interrogation with a witness or suspect, 1) Truth. You believe they're telling the truth and you want them to tell you more. 2) Doubt. You doub't they're telling the truth but you don't have any evidence to accuse them of lying. 3) Lie. You claim they're lying. (However, if you do so, you must supply proof in the form of a clue from your clue book.) I clicked Lie a few times not understanding what to do or what the result would be. ( Rockstar Games, A quick tutorial could have solved that [But I finally figured it out after 3-4 times] ).
One other detail that I sort of did not like about the game happened early in the game but was quick to get over: After you complete a mission, it immediately throws you into a new case. You don't get to look back at your previous case notes and it almost feels like the previous case has nothing to do with it.
SPOILER ALERT IN THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE: Another thing I sort of don't like was that you start the game as one character and then later on another. However, I should note the two characters are related to each other to help complete the games storyline. I ended up getting over this change but it's a bit odd as i feel like not many games do this and in the way the game works, it's almost like you're taking on a different persona.
Two Cents: If you like a classic style game the combines shoot'em up, rpg and driving, this is the game for you. If you just like a cool story and some great acting or just love other Rockstar Games this game may also work for you.

 The new Batman comic book drawn by Greg Capullo and written by Scott Snyder from DC Comics is AWESOME. It's a must read. It's visually stunning and the story is really intriguing. You will miss out greatly if you don't get your hands on this.  A lot of people have resolutions to lose weight, make more money or find a mate. My resolution is to do draw at least one piece of art a day and upload it to my online portfolio page on deviantArt.com. I'm doing this to help me be a better artist and to push me to want to do better. Unfortunately for the users who see the art, you will be seeing the worst and possibly the best of my work.
